"If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them." Henry David Thoreau

I learned how to fly so I wouldn’t have to fall
I strayed from my nest and found the highest clouds

Perched on the shadows, singing my name in the breeze
They drifted along that forever blue ribbon with ease
I made my way through stormy dark, sleet and rain
So I could float up there in the air and never fall again

But all the way up there without a care
I couldn’t see the ground or hear a sound.

I was a fish out of water.
